Delete your Anew account
How to delete your Anew account and data, what is removed, and what may be kept.
Delete your account in the app
Open Anew and go to Profile → Manage account → Delete account, then confirm with Delete account.
Deletion happens as soon as you confirm and cannot be undone. Export anything you want to keep first with Profile → Export data.
If you can’t use the app
Email support@adinovus.com from the email address on your Anew account, with the subject “Delete my Anew account”. We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours, but never for your Google or Apple password. We delete the account and confirm by email when it’s done, within the time required by applicable law.
What is deleted
Your account and profile, including your name, email address, and profile photo; your habits, check-ins, notes, reminders, and history; your Circle, its invitations, the habits you shared, and the cheers linked to your account; and your settings. These are removed from the active Anew service immediately.
What may be kept
Limited support correspondence, security records, and transaction records may be kept where needed to resolve an issue, prevent fraud, or meet a legal obligation, for as long as that purpose or legal period requires. Copies in backups remain until the backup expires and are never used to restore your account.
Google Play and Superwall keep subscription and payment records under their own legal obligations and retention rules.
Your Anew Plus subscription
Deleting your account does not cancel Anew Plus. Cancel it first in Google Play: Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, to stop future charges.
Delete some data without deleting your account
You can delete a single habit in Profile → Your habits, remove your profile photo in Profile, and leave or delete a Circle in the Circle tab. Your other data stays.
